How ACO sensors work
The ACO sensor makes a high-frequency capacitive measurement of the dielectric constant εr of the product. This enables calibration to a 4–20 mA signal output giving moisture content in mass percent, fed directly to a PLC or PROFIBUS network. Industries served include concrete, glass, ceramics, food, pet-food, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, metallic and non-metallic ores, and many more.
Installation options
Various configurations are available to match your application:
- MMS or fully digital DMMS sensor
- Signals from up to 16 sensors collected in one PC
- Averaging function available from 2–3 sensors
- Portable handheld instruments also available
